Appearance: Lightly built, with thin, dainty legs and the beautiful, dished head of an Arabian. She is fleet on her feet, and her coat shines glossy black in the sun, yet she is very hard to see on a dark night. Her rump has various bite marks from a rather nasty stallion in the past. All four legs are pure white up to her knees and hocks, and her face is white. Her mane and tail are a slightly lighter shade of black from her body, and have streaks of white through them. Standing at 14.3hh, she is a very light and dainty young mare.
Personality: Jewel is rather shy and prefers to keep to herself. She is kind and helpful towards those in need, and loves to play with foals. She isn’t particularly fond of stallions, due to a more brutal past than most mares, but feels she could get on with one if she had the chance.
Past: Jewel grew up in a herd far away from Fronia, where there weren’t many other horses around. The stallion was a rather nasty one, who liked to boss the mares and foals around a lot, mainly by kicking and biting at them to show he was the boss. She escaped from the herd as a yearling, and travelled far away from her fathers herd and violence, until she came to Fronia, where she hopes she will find peace and kindness, and maybe even a little love.
