But my dreams they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free

A gentle face appeared from the bushes, a white blaze stuck out like a house on fire. Followed by soft, but scared ebony eyes. Her gold coat shone in the moonlight, a ghostly hue stretched across the maidens back. Revealing a few scattered patches of ivory across her flanks. Her mane had many different colors of peaches running through a lighter flaxen base colour. It almost matched her tassel, except her tassel was slightly darker at the top then mereged with a lighter shade of flaxen. The creature was well marked, with two even, ivory socks on her front legs and a matching pair of stockings on her hind legs. Her breeding was of a mutt, but a well proportioned one at that. She was slender, light and flashy. She wasn't an air head, she wasn't too bothered about herself. She never put her self first. If youw as to look into her actual breding her dam was a slender Paso Fino and her hellbent Sire was a rather large, stocky warmblood.
Theres knowing your pretty, then there is not caring.
The golden maiden looked into the ink splattered sky, she seeked out a few shining stars and wondered what held them in place. The stars were such magical objects. They seemed to last a lifetime. She wondered if the stars were ghost horses, that watched over the living. It was a nice thought that someone was watching over her. She felt like she had no one in the world, as all that had happened to her was bad. She still believed there was some good out there, she was never too sure where she would find it. She wasn't completely pessimistic. There was a small light, it had dimmed over many years but with time it would shine again, and someone, somewhere would see her true colours.
Time is supposed to be a great healer.
The night had crept in quite quickly, the maiden grew tired, weary and frightened. Her heavy lids were battlying the tiredness, her legs ached as they heald up her sledner frame. She was around sixteen hands, yet her head sunk alot lower, it rested near her kness. The trees still shaded her she looked around and saw no one. Who would be out at this time? she wondered. Most of the preditors would be asleep. It appeared safe, she flared out her nostrils. She couldn't smell anything threatening. Before she had even decided her legs went to the floor. Slowly falling gracefully, as if it was meant to happen. She lay down, tucked her head in and tried to make her self invisable. The moonlight still reflected of her pelt. If you was looking in the grass you would still notice her blaze. and her random dotted splashes on her back. Shutting her heavy eyes she dazed off to her world, where she was safe and sound.
Its amazing hoe the body works.
The golden fae watched the blood drip from her filly's neck. The moonlight made her appear like gold but on the inside the creature was dead. There was no glow in her eyes, her head hung low. Her unruly mane was all over the place and her tail was matted with mud and other forage. If she could cry she would, there would be so much mourning to do. Oh why me...the world is co cruel, so dark, so twisted. Saturn, you never stood a chance. The mare's name was Fantasia, her mother named her this because of her odd colourings. As there was no palamino equines in the herd. She was different, like the fantasy horses. Yet, the troubled mare felt nothing. Her baby was dead, and she had nothing to live for. She had committed murder, a crime so cruel the light hearted would never have her back. She was damned now, would she spent her life in hell? Could she ever escape this? Would she ever see her old family again? These were the questions she wondered about. Would equines think she murded him or even blame her for her own fillys death? God only knows.
Asleep, she was supposed to be safe.
No one knows what its like
To be mistreated, to be defeated
Behind
No one knows how to say
That they're sorry and don't worry
I'm not telling lies
