This land it mine. It always will be.
The King was still the King. He stood in his land as such. He may be alone, but perhaps he would soon change that. Or, know what, he might soon be dead. The life that surged once more through his black veins was also in Phoenix, and the colt, excuse me, stallion, was getting restless, sharing his father's land. Perhaps it would only be a matter of time. Phoenix wasn't just going to claim some other land, even if they were open. Filusrian was his home, both of their homes, and that is where they would live, or die in the process of keeping it.
I am Fajer, and Filusrian is mine. Or at least my blood's.

A new day, a new appearance.
Tell Tale Heart entered the scene with an abrupt introduction. She came up behind Fajer and rubbed her muzzle up his spine. Once she was there, she observed the scenery for a moment more then turned to the steed and let a small smile slide onto her features. She was proud, almost conceited, but not to the point of being conceited.
[[ooc: sorry for the short post, just letting my presence be known.]]

And so time goes on, picking up in the very place in which it left off.
Fajer hardly flinched when the one who made up his other half appeared by his side. Even though it had been more than a year since he'd seen her, he didn't know how long, he'd always known she would come back. She always did. And so, when she finally arrived, he was not surprised. But he was very happy.
She was proud, and so was he. And yet, they did not clash with each other, an odd thing really. But he loved her, maybe not more than himself, but just as much as. And that was a lot, coming from him.
Turning toward her, he let a smile light up his own features and he spoke with a nod of his head,
It's good to see you.
I really have missed you're being here.

day and night. always in harmony
She knew he was thinking about her, and she couldn't help but do the same. Another year, they were even closer. Even though once their bond was made, it was so strong she never thought there could be anything more than that, She was proved wrong each and every day. Even when they weren't together, their love still grew. Oh what a glorious relationship this was, she wouldn't trade it for anything, not all the land the eye could see, the world, or all the stars in the sky. After everything they had been through together, how could you expect any different?
She loved how they seemed to speak without saying a word.
For a moment more she basked in the dreamy wonderland Fajer placed upon her before breaking the silence with a verbal chorus.
oh how i've missed you m'love.

And I you.
Oddly enough, I think that this little conversation--something that can't even be deemed a conversation by normal standards--is the most that Fajer and his beloved Tell Tale Heart have said to each other in a long time. And yet, as they always do, they understand each other completely, even in absence and return. They didn't need to be around each other constantly for their love for one another to flourish and thrive. Such was their relationship.
Eleven words. That's all it took. And in that he was content. Really, they didn't have to say anything; they practically knew what the other was thinking. But still, it's good to hear the voice of the one you love, even if you don't have to.
He smiled at her again, and simply let himself be close to her. He didn't have much to say, as it had all already been said. Letting his body touch hers in every way that would be deemed appropriate, for he was a man of manners and formality, Fajer soaked up every moment that he could with her, for he loved her that much.
Wow, I'm cheesy.
