Past: Itasca was born and raised to be a loner. Her mother had been one all her life, and Itasca had never even met her father. Her mother taught her to never depend on males, never get attached to them. According to her mother, she would never need a stallion. They were useless. She never really accepted this belief, but clings to it to this day, perhaps because that was the one thing her mother gave her before she died. At the age of 2, after her mother's death, she began to roam alone, never staying in one place for too long. But she soon realized that she was not her mother, and that she needed to live on something other then empty beliefs.
